To ensure a smooth and successful experience in the upcoming CBSE board exams in India, students should take note of the following precautions:

*Permitted Items:*

- *Admit Card and ID Proof*: Carry your admit card and school ID card (for regular students) or government-issued ID proof (for private students).
- *Stationery*: Bring a transparent pouch with essential stationery items like pens, pencils, erasers, and a geometry box.
- *Time-Keeping Device*: An analogue watch is allowed, but smartwatches are prohibited.
- *Water Bottle*: A transparent water bottle is permitted.

*Prohibited Items:*

- *Electronic Devices*: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are strictly forbidden.
- *Written Materials*: Notes, books, or any form of written material are prohibited, unless specified for open-book exams.
- *Wearable Technology*: Devices like fitness bands or any gadget that can record or transmit data are banned.
- *Food Items*: Eatables are not allowed, except for diabetic students with prior approval.

*Exam Day Guidelines:*

- *Reach Early*: Arrive at the exam center ahead of time to complete security checks without added stress.
- *Dress Code*: Regular students must wear their school uniform, while private candidates should wear light-colored clothes without large buttons or pockets.
- *Maintain Silence*: Avoid communicating with other students or staff during the exam .

*Unfair Means and Penalties:*

- *Malpractice*: Possessing or using electronic devices, spreading misinformation, or attempting to influence the exam process can lead to severe penalties, including cancellation of exams or a two-year ban.
- *Reporting*: Report any issues or concerns to the exam staff or authorities promptly .

*Preparation Tips:*

- *Understand Concepts*: Focus on understanding topics rather than rote learning.
- *Practice Previous Papers*: Solve past question papers to get familiar with the exam pattern and identify important topics.
